62._ Mary

On the other hand, also we have contemplated we ourselves, with all the Humanity, and the Nature, and the Universe, as objects of His Creation and His Redemption; and here also we can distinguish three aspects:

1º. _ The imperfect Nature; the sinful Humanity; Israel, the apostate town; Jerusalem, the corrupt city; the Church, denier of Christ, treacherous to his message; the person, guilty, least and ephemeral.

2º. _ The Nature, process of creative emergence; the ethical, aesthetic, cognoscent Humanity; Israel, the town of the Promise, the "faithful rest"; Jerusalem, the holy city; the Church, witness and anticipation of Christ; the person, loved of God, receiving of the Redemption.

3º. _ The New Heaven and the New Earth; the Kingdom of God; the Holy Town, the community of the saints; the New Jerusalem; the Mystical Body of Christ; the redeemed, transformed, saved person.

These aspects we conceive them symbolized, respectively, in the figures of:

1º. _ Eve, the "mother", sinning, of the Humanity.

2º. _ Mary of Nazareth, the "servant of the Lord" who accepted the will of God; the mother of Jesus, the virgin "mother" of God.

3º. _ Most Saint Mary, immaculate, "wife" of God, assumpted to heaven, our "mother".
